This creamy BBQ sauce with Greek yogurt is quick, smooth, and great with fries, grilled chicken, and more. Ready in 5 minutes with simple ingredients.
- 3 tablespoons 45g plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
- 2 tablespoons 30g mayonnaise
- ⅛ teaspoon red chili powder
- ½ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 3 pinches black pepper
- Salt to taste
Add the Greek yogurt to a mixing bowl and stir until smooth.
Add mayonnaise and mix to combine.
Add red chili powder, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt. Whisk everything together until the sauce is completely smooth and creamy.
Let the sauce rest for 5 to 10 minutes so the flavors can blend. This is an optional step.
Stir once more, taste, adjust salt or lemon as needed, and serve.
- Do not skip the rest time. It makes the sauce taste more balanced.
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the thickest, creamiest result.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- Do not freeze. Mayo-based sauces do not freeze well.
- Add more chili powder if you like a spicier sauce.
